wow. perfect. i am one of those rabid mayer fans who swears by 'slow dancing in a burning room' and that boy's guitar skills, but this album is just not good. it would be a little better if it hadn't followed continuum, but i don't think he'll be able to top that AMAZING piece of work. i had to turn battle studies off after a few times though because i couldn't take the disappointment any longer. who knows, maybe he wanted everybody to experience the pains of failed expectations? at least he would have accomplished THAT objective.

"Hey, This is John from, well, from John Mayer... the musician. And also John Mayer Trio..." haha. Well written, Daniel Anderson. You sounded pretty professional, despite your claims otherwise.
